". . . and further on there’s Tetbury, famously Chas ‘n’ Camilla-ville, which has approximately 45 antiques outlets and a cosmic tea shop. The Trouble House on the Cirencester road coming out of Rebury is one of the few Michelin-starred gastro pubs in Britain."

Although there’s plenty to entertain you on the estate, should you venture outside, the charm of the Cotswolds awaits. Nearby Cirencester is a bustling market town with an excellent range of shops and choice of fine restaurants. The vibrant farmers market, which offers a huge choice of local produce, takes place here every other Saturday.

Families will love the Cotswold Wildlife Park, home to an amazing collection of mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates, and the Cotswold Water Park, which boasts over 130 lakes and many attractions, including a lakeside beach at Keynes Country Park.

You’ll also discover unspoilt, pretty Cotswolds villages of honey coloured stone like Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Bibury. Further north, there are more delights in store, such as elegant Broadway and Moreton-in-the-Marsh as well as what is considered by serious horticulturists to be one of the country’s most beautiful and influential gardens, the National Trust owned Hidcote Manor.
